heres the maple back with a cherry accent strip. I used western red cedar for the front, and maple for the neck and body. it still gets a walnut fret board, all in all I think it will look pretty good I just hope it sounds good.

I am almost done with my first instrument, it's a strummer set like a dulcimer. I still need the string, hardware and to glue on the walnut fret board. I also started a oak teardrop dulcimer. after I got that one on its way I going to start the hourglass and then a banjo.

I'm currently building a Hawaiian square necked CBG with a lowezo. Decided to go with a stratocaster head so I'm doing a bit of laminating right now to make more width. Used some scrap pieces of exotic hardwo0ds.

The first glue didn't take... cocobolo to oak. Must be to amount of oil in the wood. I switched over to padauk and glued 2 1/4" dowels clear through.

Went with the stratocaster because I wanted have the strings all lined in straight row to the tuners.
