"That is a beautiful instrument, do you tune it like a tenor guitar? really like the tailpiece. Dulcimer are really nice also. Always enjoy building dulcimers, such a satisfying sound."

"Thanks for the note. I made these 2 weissenborns out of mesquite for the backs and sides and bois 'd arc for the fingerboards. The guy that gave me the wood got 1 of them. Not a bad trade. They are great instruments to play."

"Thanks Bob. Most of the sides and backs I've built recently are out of .050 aluminum so it's real easy to form by hand. The tops of these are 1/8" birch ply. Amazing what will resonate. Your pick ups are great, I guess I'll have…"

"I like how you form the sheet metal on your guitars. I was thinking of haveing a water jet .500 thick plate of steel cut as a form. Also I have been through Waco many times going to Gothewaite, Texas."
