Hey Ottie, just listened to Christmas Eve at Otties. Nice playing on a nice sounding slider. I can learn something from you. Thanks... Dave
Thanks Ottie, I just played the lap steel in our annual Battle of The Jug Bands yesterday. She sounded good and we had a lot of fun as usual. This is the 16th battle and I've played at every one. I played my new 1956 Supro "Special" at the party before the battle. I just put a new chord on her and new strings. She sounds great. Snagged her on ebay. I'll be making a copy of her. She's amazingly simple in design and will look sharp in Mahogany or Maple.
Hi Ottie, Thanks for the friends request. My dad's name was Otis. Nice to see some of your fine work. Hope you are doing well at the festivals. I've been doing some business on ebay, but haven't sold but one of my own creations so far. I'm on #20 and they all live together in our living room. Lucky, I've got a great and supportive spouse who lets me have my way. She likes them.
