Figured I`d give it a try too, start to finish on this build. It started out as my first double neck and my first license plate builds so I combined the both into one build. The first thing I did was lay out the top and bottom and the design I wanted it to look like, positioning… Continue

glad if ur happy mate.  pretty sure that neck is a 600mm scale.  double whatever the zero fret slot to the 12 fret slot but pretty sure its 600mm.  cant wait to see what u do with it all.  Most of the wood is Tassie blackwood, a few bits of redgum and the laminates there look to be merbau and ash lams from neck scrap

Total theft of the billy bone shaker bridge. I used a .300 Win Mag cartridge & bird shot. Soldered a pair of piezos to the bottom.  I put it in my 4 stringer that I just threw together,  with a humbucker and a  selector switch.  Bright, punchy, and the rattle is just plain cool.  Please don't sue me.

Thanks for the hidden string pic's Randy. That's stealth. The string appears out of nowhere. This will be interesting.
