I needed to slim down the next a bit since the tuners wouldnt quite make it all the way through. So I cut a made a bunch of cuts with the coping saw and then took the rasp to it.
Since this build will have a bit of hardware it also required a few holes. I was going to stain the neck, but I came across this gloss black rustolium in the back of the cabinet. I kind of like how it turned out.
The lid on this box is pretty deep, so I decided to attach the neck to the lid so I can open the guitar later without disturbing the strings. Considering all the guts I figured I might have to get inside more often than normal.
